I was perusing the Art of Manliness this morning and came across an article on field dressing a squirrel. Now all I need is one of these and one of these.

Disobedience was Man’s Original Virtue
“Every fact of science was once damned. Every invention was considered impossible. Every discovery was a nervous shock to some orthodoxy. Every artistic innovation was denounced as fraud and folly. The entire web of culture and ‘progress,’ everything on earth that is man-made and not given to us by nature, is the concrete manifestation of some man’s refusal to bow to Authority. We would own no more, know no more, and be no more than the first apelike hominids if it were not for the rebellious, the recalcitrant, and the intransigent. As Oscar Wilde truly said, ‘Disobedience was man’s Original Virtue.”

Dubstep on the Great Wall of China
To break my own rule, here’s a video of someone dancing. It’s dubstep, c’mon! I wouldn’t have linked it up unless it was fantastic. Via The Kid Should See This, who snagged it via Laughing Squid.

When Kerouac Met Kesey. As told by their agent.

Photos from an Afghan Market
Amazing photo set. Reminds me of time spent in Abu Dhabi, UAE. All I wanted to do was sit in the market and soak up the ancient.

Water Messaging
Very cool use of water for transient 3D printing. I suppose that’s how best to describe this.
Somehow, I can’t help but me a bit nostalgic for this already. I’m sure this will be used to print company logos and advertisements for pimple cream in no-time flat.
